“Blu” is a direct reflection of the man that I am today. Considering color psychology and how it resonates with me, “blue” captures my creativity, productivity, reliability, calmness, stability, and intelligence. It also reflects my dedication to Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. capturing the purity of why I became a Man of Sigma embodying our Motto, “Culture for service, Service for Humanity”.
“Sage” symbolizes the wisdom gained from overcoming life’s challenges, staying grounded with nature, emphasizing empathy and sympathy.
Together, “The Blu Sage” embodies my commitment to empowering men of color who feel stuck in their current circumstances. I aim to guide those seeking change and greater opportunities, helping them stand out and elevate their personal style.
We serve as the conduit, connecting the dots between how Black men perceive themselves and the reality of who they truly are. Our image consulting and empowerment coaching provide them with the necessary arsenal to confidently traverse the world of fashion. Through our strategic image consulting, sessions aimed at building confidence, and comprehensive style education training, we empower them to present their most authentic selves to the world.
At The Blu Sage (Blu Σage), we envision a utopia for Black men aged 18 – 50, a world where:

The Power of Color: A Spark That Ignited a Mission
Growing up, my family prioritized experiences and resourcefulness over brand names. Thrifting wasn’t trendy then, but it instilled in me a love for unique finds and the importance of making the most of what we had.
Somewhere along the way, I became fascinated by the world of color and how it interacts with different skin tones. This passion ignited a fire within me, especially seeing a need for guidance in my own community. Many men, including myself at one point, lack the knowledge of how to leverage clothing and color to project confidence and celebrate their individuality.
That’s why I created The Blu Sage. It’s more than just a fashion brand, it’s a call to action. It’s about empowering Black men to embrace their individuality and unlock the confidence that comes with feeling handsome in their own skin.

Fashion and confidence used to be a mystery to me. But after witnessing the transformative power of image on a personal level, I knew I had to share it with others. Today, as an image consultant and men’s empowerment coach, I find immense joy in helping men discover how clothing and style can elevate their presence and project the image they desire. Combining image consulting with coaching empowers men to look sharp and feel strong, capable, and ready to take on the world. Seeing men break through self-doubt and embrace their unique style allows them to show up authentically and attract the opportunities they deserve.
